PROGRAM PLANNING RELIEF STAFF 

Permanent/ Part Time (1 Day) 

Alpha Children’s Centre is seeking suitable applicants for the Program Planning Relief Staff position on a permanent part time basis (1 day). Reporting to the Alpha Children’s Centre Manager, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support the centre staff in the day to day kitchen duties, in other room and undertake additional tasks in line with the overall position relating to Alpha Children’s Centre.

The successful applicant will have, amongst other attributes, relevant tertiary qualifications in early childhood (Certificate III minimum level) and (Desirable) other food handling related qualifications, business knowledge of the early childhood industry, demonstrated experience in early childhood and cooking for children. Proficient in Greek and English is an advantage and an additional language is highly desirable, with excellent written and oral skills and excellent time management.

Remuneration according to qualifications & experience under the Children’s Services Award 2010. Salary packaging available.

Childrens Services Educators - Various Positions

PRONIA is seeking suitable Children’s Services Educators to fill the vacant positions available at the Alpha Children’s Centre. Reporting to the Manager, you will work in accordance with Children’s Centre policies and procedures; ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children. Any additional tasks will be in line with the overall position relating to the Alpha Children’s Centre.

The successful applicant will have, relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood development and care. Understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity and issues affecting the CALD community. The applicant must have excellent written and oral skills, excellent time management and proficiency in computer use. Proficient in speaking English and preferably a second language would be highly recommended.

Community Care Worker - Positions vacant within PRONIA 

PRONIA is seeking to recruit people to join their vibrant and dynamic Aged & Co-ordinated Care Services Team.

We are looking for people who are interested in providing support to elderly and people with disabilities in the community to work in our Home Care Packages:

  • Home Care: House cleaning (e.g. dusting, wiping, mopping etc.) and other tasks such as washing, ironing, cooking and shopping.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance for their personal care (e.g. helping with food, assistance in dressing, showering, toilet etc.), as well as accompanying them to appointments or leisure activities.

We are looking for people who currently have a CERT III in Individual Support or equivalent or willingness to do the course whilst in paid employment as a Community Care Worker.
