A Certificate III in Home and Community Care or the equivalent qualification as well as a current Senior First Aid Certificate.

COOK - GENERIC AIDE

Reporting to the Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing support to clients who attend and participate in the Centre’s activities. SERVICE ROSTER - RESPITE PROGRAM

This position is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services for 3 years to deliver a high quality, community capacity building program to support carers and educate on end of life issues.

CASE MANAGER - HOME CARE PACKAGES PROGRAM

Fixed Term Full-Time

PRONIA is seeking as suitable applicant for the Case Manager position on a fixed-term full time. Reporting to the Aged & Coordinated Care Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to Home Care Package clients, monitor care recipient needs, seek opportunities for growth in the Home Care Packages program and undertake additional tasks in line with the overall position relating to PRONIA.

The successful applicant will have, amongst other attributes, appropriate tertiary qualifications preferably in Social Work, nursing or allied health fields, minimum 3 years’ experience in community aged care or case management, awareness of issues for Greek speaking Carers and ability to work cooperatively within a team and autonomously. Proficient in speaking the Greek and English language, with excellent written and oral skills and excellent time management. Proficiency use of Microsoft suite and packages such as Word, Excel, Access, Internet and E-mail.

Community Care Worker - Positions vacant within PRONIA 

PRONIA is seeking to recruit people to join their vibrant and dynamic Aged & Co-ordinated Care Services Team.

We are looking for people who are interested in providing support to elderly and people with disabilities in the community to work in our Home Care Packages:

  • Home Care: House cleaning (e.g. dusting, wiping, mopping etc.) and other tasks such as washing, ironing, cooking and shopping.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance for their personal care (e.g. helping with food, assistance in dressing, showering, toilet etc.), as well as accompanying them to appointments or leisure activities.
