Message from CEO

Welcome to the PRONIA website.  As the Chief Executive Officer of PRONIA I feel privileged and proud to be writing this message for an organisation celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.  Our vision for creating an inclusive society where people are supported to live their best lives is what we aspire to achieve.  Our brand represents our commitment to quality client service, diversity, empowerment, and innovation in service provision.

The 50th anniversary year will be an opportunity to reflect and celebrate PRONIA’s achievements, the work of its founders, staff and volunteers who so passionately gave of themselves to make a difference to the lives of many.  Today PRONIA is an employer of over 200 staff, provider of essential services in aged care, child care and direct services, and an advocate for social justice.

Looking forward, our objectives are focused on growth and harnessing new and sustainable opportunities through strategic partnerships and engagement of community including the second and subsequent generations.  We are committed to enhancing organisational capability to continue quality person-centered care and contributing to multicultural social policy.

I am excited about the next phase of our journey and look forward to sharing the experience.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
