Giannis Ploutarhos

Giannis Ploutarhos visited us once again at PRONIA’s offices in Brunswick and spent time with the elderly and the staff talking and entertaining them. “My love for Australian Greeks is genuine and unspeakable. I really admire them” as he told us.
The joy and excitement of all present at PRONIA’s offices on Thursday was simply indescribable. The famous singer had time to talk to everyone, take countless selfies and even serve food in the staff canteen. His directness, friendliness, kindness and real interest in the people he met won the impressions from everyone present. Old and new fans experienced very happy moments meeting the famous Greek artist who’s unique voice has won the love and admiration of the public and remains for many years in their hearts as well as at the top of their preferences.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
