PRONIA added some festive sparkle this year by organising a special Christmas excursion for Greek speaking seniors in the Dandenong Ranges aboard the historic Puffing Billy steam train.

All fifty participants enjoyed the excursion and had fun onboard the steam train and around Emerald Lake. Everyone has been very grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with others and enjoy a day out in nature.

“I never knew places like this existed outside of Melbourne and I have lived here all my life! Thank you so much for bringing me here, it’s magic – I love it!” said Mrs Eleni, one of the participants.
