Another beautiful excursion by PRONIA for the Greek-speaking seniors of our community Greek-speaking seniors enjoyed a gorgeous day out on Monday, 24th April visiting KaBloom Festival of Flowers in the gorgeous Dandenong Ranges! Filled with millions of colourful blooms, the festival of flowers provided amazing entertainment with the most incredible nouveaux circus, delicious foods, tractor rides and good company in the glorious and sunny autumn weather. Cooking Classes for Youth

PRONIA was excited to deliver its first of many youth activities with a Persian-inspired cooking class. The class hosted youth aged 18-29 and aimed to increase the social connection between participants, foster a team-building environment and develop their practical skills in the kitchen. Exploring the flavours of the Middle East, two teams worked collaboratively to produce three delicious meals that were enjoyed by all at the conclusion of the class. Grecian Ball

April 4, 2023

The 2nd Grecian Ball at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, organised by the Greek Community of Melbourne on the occasion of Greece’s Independence Day and the Revolution of 1821, was held on Friday, 24th March. Guests included distinguished politicians, media representatives and many Greek-Australian associations and organisations, including PRONIA, HACCI, Fronditha Care and Agapi. PRONIA’s CEO Tina Douvos Stathopoulos and management enjoyed the community spirit, exchanged ideas and met new people. Famous Greek singer, Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s performance, completed the memorable evening’s celebration.

Harmony Week
