Puffing Billy Excusion

PRONIA added some festive sparkle this year by organising a special Christmas excursion for Greek speaking seniors in the Dandenong Ranges aboard the historic Puffing Billy steam train. All fifty participants enjoyed the excursion and had fun onboard the steam train and around Emerald Lake. Manningham Greek Seniors Club

PRONIA joined the Manningham Greek Seniors Club on Tuesday 13 December for the Christmas Celebration. Over two hundred participants enjoyed the Christmas party of the Manningham Greek Seniors Club with honoured guests the Mayor of Manningham Cr Deidre Diamante and Cr Anna Chen. Everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere with plenty of cheer, good food, dancing, laughter and joy! Even Santa made an appearance!

Healesville Excursion

PRONIA (with the support of Merri-bek City Council ) organised an end-of-year excursion for Greek speaking seniors to Healesville on Monday, December 12th, aiming to bring people back to nature and give them an opportunity to reconnect and socialize. Participants were quite pleased with the initiative as they thoroughly enjoyed their guided tour around the beautiful scenery of the town and the surrounding hiking trails. They also had a chance to visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie to buy some souvenirs and enjoy chocolates and other treats.

Volunteer Christmas Party

The annual PRONIA Volunteers Christmas Lunch is about sharing the spirit of Christmas and acknowledging the volunteers of our organisation who put others first. The work these incredible individuals carry out is a significant service to our elderly and vulnerable community.
