MP Sheena Watt visiting PRONIA
We were very excited to host Sheena Watt MP at PRONIA’s offices last Thursday. MP Sheena Watt is Victorian Labor’s first Indigenous parliamentarian, filling the vacancy left by former health minister Jenny Mikakos in 2020.
Mrs Watt met with PRONIA’s CEO Mrs Tina Douvos-Stathopoulos and management and was briefed on PRONIA’s work with the Greek-Australian community before she had a tour of PRONIA’s offices and saw firsthand the impact that the organisation has in the community. Ms Watt’s interest and determination to help her community and those in need is obvious. “I am a lifelong fighter for the most vulnerable in our community,” she has said in the past.
Ms Watt was briefed on all issues pertaining the Greek-Australian community and discussed with management about support and future collaborations.
