Teaming Up With Moreland City Council & Western Health

The two organisations teamed up with PRONIA to provide the most updated information about keeping COVID safe including a demonstration of how to use the RAT tests, to the Greek-speaking elderly of our community. Knowing how to use the RAT test once we have symptoms is very important so we can have access to antiviral medication early and prevent getting seriously ill.

This winter we are staying safe and well by following the top three recommendations from the health experts:

1. We wear a mask

2. We get our second booster shot (or 4th dose)

3. We get tested immediately when we have symptoms and inform our GP if the result is positive so we can receive early treatment. All together we stay safe, we stay protected, we stay well.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
