Happy Birthday PRONIA

It was 1st September 1972 that PRONIA was founded, 50 years ago.

Boasting an impressive 50-year history that has seen thousands of Greek-Australians getting support and individualised services over the years. PRONIA’s contribution and important role in the development of the Greek-Australian landscape is unquestionably of great significance. Today PRONIA not only continues to serve the community with a wide range of services but remains an invaluable space for the growth and empowerment of the old, the current and the many generations to come.

To mark the special occasion, today we celebrated with our Planned Activity Groups and all the staff at PRONIA as we blew the candles togather and enjoyed the birthday cake

PRONIA’s half a century of history and achievements will be celebrated during our 50 year Anniversary GALA on Saturday, 17th September at Hyatt Place in Essendon Fields.

Everyone is welcome to join us in this spectacular event, bookings can be made here for a few more days only:

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
