Volunteers Luncheon

Every year during the National Volunteer Week PRONIA celebrates and honours its volunteers. This year, being PRONIA’s 50th Anniversary, the celebration was very special with live entertainment, sentimental speeches, presentations, dance and good company.
To express its depth of gratitude and to say thank you, PRONIA presented all volunteers with a Commemorative Book entitled ‘In their Own Words’ together with a Certificate of Appreciation, lapel pin and a wine bottle with the olive leaf symbol of PRONIA’s fifty years.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
