Women’s connection & meditation group
Following the success of last year’s program, PRONIA is pleased to once again be offering the opportunity for women to participate in this connection and meditation group.
The program consists of six one hour sessions to be held every Tuesday from 2 February – 9 March, at 12.30pm. It is offered free of charge as part of PRONIA’s community programs to combat the negative effects of COVID-19.
The group will provide the opportunity to connect with other women in a safe space, share experiences and learn a simple skill through Stillness Meditation to help alleviate stress and anxiety.
Many studies have shown the positive effects of meditation on physical health as well as emotional wellbeing. It helps build resilience, restores a sense of calm into our lives, and increases creativity and productivity. To fully experience the benefits of this program, it is expected that participants will attend all six sessions.
With a new year there is always the intention to start fresh, make new beginnings and embark on programs that nurture our health and wellbeing.
We invite you to make this program part of your 2021 resolutions.
The group will be facilitated by Lucy Louca, Community Engagement Officer at PRONIA.
Lucy holds Counselling qualifications and is a registered meditation teacher with Meditation Association of Australia.
