Rostering Services Officer – Oakleigh

Permanent, full-time

  • Salary: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 3, ($37.35 – $40.05) per hour) + super, depending on experience.

Who are we?

PRONIA, meaning “to provide”, is an established community services agency with a rich 50-year history servicing the needs of the culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including the Australian-Greek community. We advocate for the vulnerable and provide innovative services to meet current and emerging multicultural community needs including aged care, NDIS, early education, and family and community programs.

What you will be doing

We are looking for a Greek-speaking administrator, to join our Brokered Services Rostering Team as the day-to-day hub of communications in rostering client services.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluency in Greek and English is mandatory along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability or understanding of the needs of elderly from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, with a specific focus on Greek elderly and carers.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and self-managed workload to meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Other requirements:

  • Current driver licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Undergo national police record check.
  • Own IT infrastructure at home to enable work from home capabilities during periods of lockdown or where directed by the business.
