What you will be doing

You will be supporting the elderly and connecting them to the community around them. With kindness you will provide home care, personal care, light domestic assistance, meal preparation, community participation, shopping and assistance with tasks of daily living.

What you will bring to this role

  • Have a positive and professional attitude
  • Be reliable and on time
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Demonstrated ability or understanding in working with elderly from different cultural, linguistic and health backgrounds
  • Bilingual or Greek speaking desirable
  • The ability to work independently and part of a team.

Other requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, or willingness to enrol shortly after being employed
  • Current certificates in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to complete the course
  • Current driver licence and reliable vehicle
  • Smartphone
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Record Check
