Carers Camp 2019
Almost 2.7 million Australians care for someone with disability, a medical condition, mental illness or someone who is frail due to age.
PRONIA is committed to providing supports to carers and their families.
A wonderful opportunity exists to attend a three-day event.
On the 13th to 15th of May 2019, PRONIA will be taking 20 carers on a camp to Daylesford. Priority will be given to people who are:
- A carer
- Living in the Northern region
- Greek speaking background
- Looking after someone who is on an NDIS package or are waiting to get an NDIS package
- If you are a carer without an NDIS package
All expenses are inclusive of transport, accommodation, meals and activities.
This will be a great opportunity for people to come along and socially connect through sharing of life experiences, stories and of course spending quality time pampering you.
PRONIA recognises that time alone and uninterrupted is rare and this is exactly what the camp will enable you to do.
Expressions of interest will also be considered from carers who do not live in the Northern Region.
If you are interested in attending and want to more information, please contact, Chriss Gullace and Fotini Zachariou at PRONIA on 9388 9998 for further details.
