Why Donate to PRONIA?

PRONIA is a non-government, non-profit, ethno specific organisation that provides services to disadvantaged members of the Australian-Greek community at a state-wide level. PRONIA has, over the last 50 years, built a considerable reputation as an innovative and progressive organisation that has served and continues to serve the most vulnerable sections of the community with integrity and distinction.

It provides quality services and programs in the areas of community services, aged care, training and child care by targeting individuals, families and the community in need to address their existing and emerging needs. However, the provision of services is constantly reliant upon the availability of funds from an ever decreasing number of funding sources.

At a time when our community is ageing rapidly and the need for services is at a critical level, the availability of funds from “traditional” sources are hard to find. For this reason making a donation to PRONIA will assist us in continuing to meet the needs of the Australian-Greek community.

PRONIA has had a long, proud history in advocating for social justice, equality of opportunity for individuals and communities, with the aim of helping to create a stronger, cohesive, and inclusive society for all Australians. It is within this spirit that PRONIA supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the “yes” vote in the upcoming referendum to constitutionally recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as the First Peoples of Australia and a Voice to parliament.
