Spiros Papadopoulos

Spiros is an IT professional, with extensive experience in a range of skills including, project management, stakeholder enagagement and management, software development, and database management.

Has worked in a variety of sectors including: Government, Infrastructure & Services, Banking & Finance, Retail Corporate, and Health.

He has been involved in community organisations for the past 35 years, beginning with the University of Melbourne Greek Club, NUGAS, Pontiaki Estia, Pontiaki Koinotita, and APOTHE Theatre Group

Spiros is a current Board Member of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria, as well as, Alphington Grammar School.

He is married to Kathy and together have raised 5 children.

Currently he is working at the Austin Hospital in the IT field, he also works parttime on Saturdays in the disabiltiy support field.

Two main passions for Spiros are supporting and empowering people with disabilities and maintaining and strengthening the Greek Language and Culture.

Qualifications:  Bachelor of Science (Hons), Master of Science, Graduate Diploma Computer Science, Prince2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management, Cert III in Aged Care, Cert IV in Disability
